5 Food trails to track in 2023

So maybe you’ve been on wine trails (and love them), but maybe you need a little change up? Have you ever considered doing a whiskey trail, or maybe a food trail instead? If you’re looking for something new and exciting to do (or eat) in the U.S.A. in 2023, we’ve got you covered! Here at Honey & Spice Travel Co, you know we love to EAT.

1. North Carolina Oyster Trail – Available all-year round; oysters are true to please any foodie’s craving! You can visit a shellfish farm or visit a local market to create your own seafood meal. You can see everything the trail has to offer here.

2. Buffalo Wing Trail – Feeling spicy? Head upstate to Buffalo, NY where they boast they are the World Capital of Wings! You can sample different flavors from different regions, and learn a little Buffalo history along the way.

3. Ohio Doughnut Trail – We do-nut see a problem with this! In Butler County, Ohio there are more donut shops per capita in the U.S. Pick up a donut passport and a trail map, and get to brunchin’. Travel the trail here.

4. Pennsylvania’s Pickle Trail – Fermented foods unite! If you LOVE those pickled veggies, kombucha, or vinegar, you’re going to love this savory trail.

5. Mississippi BBQ Trail – Be sure to pack your bib, because this trail is about to get sticky sweet and messy! This is more like a BBQ place listing than it is a trail, but that means you can find good BBQ wherever you might be in the great state of MS. Find it here.

BONUS: If you’re headed to the BC, Canada area anytime soon, you’ll want to check out The Dumpling Trail in Richmond!
